The big 1,000!

Thank you for getting my blog 1,000 views!
I'm completly amazed, considering I only started writing it in June.
I didn't think it would be that popular! :).

I feel that it's important that I try to update as much as possible.
Although I feel like I've neglected it over the past few days - sorry.
I was in the middle of moving house so I had to pack etc.
I'm into my new house now so updates should definitely be regular again!

What Katie Bought - Part 3

I was really needing a jacket for winter and I love this one!

I saw someone on facebook wearing this dress in one of their photos and I loved it (the person isn't from where I live). I saw it today and knew I had to get it!

This is the first dress I noticed as soon as I walked into the shop. It's so much more lovely in real life.

I've wanted a long cardi for ages so decided to buy this one!

Republic just opened recently where I live and I hadn't been so I went today.
It's definitely my new fave shop!

Jimmy Choo @ H&M shoe preview

This is a preview of two sets of Jimmy Choo shoes which are to be sold at high street store H&M from 14th November.
Choo mania will soon be hitting H&M stores worldwide and it's safe to say that they're going to sell out quick.

The collection includes clothes, shoes, jewellery and handbags.
Prices for the jewellery start at £14.99 whilst the cheapest pair of shoes are the studded zebra-print pumps (shown above) which cost £49.99.

I saw campaigns for the most anticipated collaboration this year in this month's Vogue and they certainly don't fail to impress!

Audrey Hepburn was so beautiful and elegant. She made such a simple outfit (the LBD) a wardrobe must-have!

I think Fearne Cotton's edgy and quirky look is brilliant as she isn't afraid to stand out from the crowd!

I love how everything that Alexa Chung wears looks thrown-together yet still looks so stylish.

Emma Watson has shot to the top in Fashion.
Being signed up for Burberry campaigns.

Cheryl Cole has gone from being chavvy to gracing the pages of Vogue.

Not long till Jimmy Choo hits H&M

42 days to be precise!
And I'm already excited!

Jimmy Choo for H&M is available from 14th November.

There is something just so fascinating and exciting about these photographs.
They are taken by a woman called Elena Kalis who is originally from Russia but now lives in the Bahamas.
She uses her two children and friends for her underwater photos.

What would the Fashion world do without Anna Wintour?

Anna Wintour, editor-in-chief of American Vogue is quite simply the 'Queen Bee' of the Fashion Industry.
Anna basically decides the trends for the fashion world.
Without Anna, fashion wouldn't exist.

Anna is often described as the 'Ice woman' or 'Nuclear Wintour' because of her 'frosty' appearance in the fashion world.
Last night I watched The September Issue which is a behind the scenes documentary at American Vogue.
From watching that documentary I saw Anna as a hardworking determined woman which you have to be at any high fashion magazine.
Anna also doesn't come across as 'frosty' as people describe her, she is reserved but also has a sense of humour which she shows at some points in the documentary.

I think there are some moments in The September Issue that are a bit drastic though.
Such as getting rid of photos from a shoot that cost $50,000 to put together.
But who am I to voice an opinion on this subject?

I highly recommend watching The September Issue if having a career in Fashion is something you're considering or even if you just want to see what happens at Vogue.
